I cannot wait until tomorrow. I cannot wait because yesterday we spent at least 4 hours handmaking pierogi. Delicious. Wish I had remembered my camera to document the experience, but I probably would not have been in such a creative mood after dough batch 6. I don't know how many batches of dough we actually made, but wow. There were a lot of pierogi!
Then, my in-laws watched the kids for us last night so Jer and I could have a much needed date night! I absolutely love hanging with my husband and I am totally enamored with him! We watched, The Book Of Eli. Highly recommend that movie! I'd love to go on, but I don't want to be a spoiler!
Today we're headed to my sister in law's cheerleading competition. The kids are goign to wear their I <3 AUNT JENNA shirts in support! It should be a fun day. Just pray the kids cooperate for me! And, I cannot forget my camera for this one!
Lastly, just something that has been on my mind... Anabelle's fingers... I haven't mentioned it to many people, but Anabelle's thumbs don't completely straighten out. Its gotten progressively worse and, sad to say, I have no clue when this happened. I suppose we noticed just after her 3rd Birthday, or about there. I've always assumed it was harmless, but (also sad to say) I finally decided to google it and have possibly found otherwise. There is a thing called congenital trigger finger. I don't to jump the gun and I definitely don't want to be that person who self-diagnoses over the internet, but it seems like it is a very good possibility. We go to the doctor on Tuesday for Coop's 4 yr appointment (yes, it is almost 2 months late... OOPS) and Lennon's 4 month appointment (yes, it is just 2 days short of him being 5 mos), so I am goign to have the doc check out Belle's hands at that point. I'm speculating we'll be sent to a hand doctor if, in fact, this is what I'm thinking it is.
My children are awake, which means that the barrage of requests (milk, cereal, clothes, butt wiping, kisses, etc) is going to start at any moment!

A Day Late and A Dollar Short
If you are close to me, you know that I am perpetually late for things. When there is something important, I always set my goal time to leave at least a half an hour earlier than I actually have to leave, which generally works. So, I guess this is why my New Year's Resolution to keep up with my blog and to pursue my project 365 diligently, is being started on January 21st. Better late than never, right?
So, today is 1/365. I probably should be fair and post a portrait of my first-born, but he's been less than cooperative lately when I pull out my camera, not to mention he's at school today. So, today Lennon gets the spotlight.
And with that, I suppose this post should come to an end... Imagine that sweet little face giving that sweet little stare, only this time he's screaming. My cue to vamoose!

Great Girls!
I had the pleasure of taking some pictures for two gorgeous girls today. We had the benefit of outstanding weather and luckily, it wasn't TOO cold or raining, so we could head downtown in the Clem. I've previewed all of the photos and we got some truly awesome shots today. It didn't hurt that my subjects today were extremely photogenic and very cooperative, no matter how corny my requests seemed! I really hope that they are pleased with their photos and, most of all, I hope their mother is pleased as she is the lucky recipient of these!
Without further ado, here is just one teaser from the shoot today! Like I said, they were very great models!

1 Year Anniversary Shoot
I had a great shoot today with a great couple. They were very cooperative (even when I wanted some corny shots) and they were very patient. They were so easy to photograph and their pictures turned out gorgeous! I have just previewed all of them and I found a lot of them are great! Now, I just need to choose the 'perfect' shots to present to them. For now, here is a little preview of the shot I've just finished editing!

Entering the Digital Photography World
Yes, its true... the photography world is almost completely internet-based nowadays. That means that its in my best interest to have a website. Let me tell you... I am one patient person, but putting together this website on my own is one of the most tedius and intricate tasks that I have come across. Each little decision has become overwhelming. The perfectionist in me is taking over and I can't just make these decisions easily!
Any volunteers for taking over this task?
No?
Beuhler?
Beuhler????
Darn... Guess I'm on my own...

I am Photographer... Here Me Roar!
Well, maybe I won't be saying ROAR, but you'll definitely hear some SNAPs coming from my direction.
For my first blog, I'll share a photo of my first love... my baby boy! He's not so much a baby anymore. That smile gets my heart every time.
I should probably take my mommy goggles off before I say this, but isn't he the cutest thing ever?
